Endurance Steel Orchestra is a dynamic organisation, with youth engagement and community cohesion at its core. Founded by Marlon Hibbert in 2009, Endurance aims to enrich the lives of young people through the art of steel pan. Alongside delivering workshops and developing a junior steel band, the orchestra gigs regularly at various events - including national competitions and international performances.

Marlon Hibbert is the leader of Endurance Steel Orchestra which was founded in 2009. Inspired to give young people from all backgrounds the opportunity to learn music and grow as people he continues to drive the organisation.
Kim Esnard joined Endurance in Jan 2017
She manages client liaison, performance details, schedules, pastoral care and general admin.
She plays bass in the adult class and is passionate about youth development, and aspires to play for the advanced band - eventually leading to panorama!
Aaron has been a part of the orchestra since 2012. As well as playing steel pan, he also plays guitar and drum kit. He is currently studying at BIMM university and teaches steel pan in schools around london.

Mia has been a part of Endurance since 2014. Since then she's taken to the path of being a full time steel pan tutor. With her enthusiastic and fun approach she is always keen on helping to run classes and workshops.
Ebow "Paapa" Mensah
Percussion Section Leader
Ebow is our resident drummer and also spearheads the rhythm section. With a real passion for music Ebow regularly demonstrates his ability on the Tenor steel pan and has recently won the "Pan Clash 2017 Soloist competition". He is currently working towards studying the drum kit at university.
